He was originally working as a personal trainer in Tokyo, but when the company he was working for was dissolved in early 2019, he became unemployed and returned to his hometown of Gunma Prefecture.
While working part-time at his family's farm to make a living, he began practicing video production. In October 2019, he started posting videos on YouTube, but YouTube didn't work out, so the following year he tried making short videos on TikTok, and experienced going viral for the first time. At the time, he wasn't able to monetize short videos, but he enjoyed gaining more TikTok followers by going viral, so he continued posting daily for two and a half years. His number of TikTok followers exceeded 50 million, making him the number one in Japan, and he achieved 25 million channel subscribers on YouTube.
